These Driver Terms & Conditions apply to drivers, delivery partners, vehicle operators and contractors who access or use the Drive2Deliver Driver App or accept delivery jobs through the Drive2Deliver platform.
By creating a driver account, uploading documents, accepting a delivery job, going online, or using the Driver App, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Drive2Deliver is a construction material marketplace and delivery technology platform that connects suppliers, builders, contractors, tradies, customers and delivery drivers.
Drive2Deliver may provide access to delivery opportunities, app-based job management, delivery instructions, proof-of-delivery tools, tracking, support, payment processing and compliance information.
Drive2Deliver does not guarantee that any driver will receive a minimum number of jobs, minimum earnings, fixed working hours or ongoing work.
To use the Drive2Deliver Driver App, you must:
Be legally permitted to work or provide services in Australia.
Hold a valid Australian driver licence.
Hold the correct licence class for the vehicle you operate.
Provide accurate personal, business and vehicle information.
Have access to a suitable and safe delivery vehicle.
Maintain valid vehicle registration.
Maintain appropriate insurance.
Comply with all applicable Australian laws, road rules, safety standards and transport regulations.
Complete any onboarding, training, verification or compliance steps required by Drive2Deliver.
Agree to Drive2Deliver’s driver policies, safety requirements and app rules.
Drive2Deliver may approve, reject, suspend or deactivate a driver account if eligibility requirements are not met.
You are responsible for ensuring that you hold the correct licence for the vehicle you operate.
Depending on your vehicle, this may include:
Car licence
Light Rigid — LR
Medium Rigid — MR
Heavy Rigid — HR
Heavy Combination — HC
Multi Combination — MC
Any other licence, permit or authority required by law
You must not accept a job if you do not hold the correct licence, permit, vehicle authority or legal permission to perform that job.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing and subject to applicable law, drivers use the Drive2Deliver platform as independent delivery partners or contractors.
You acknowledge that:
You are responsible for how you operate your vehicle and perform delivery services.
You are responsible for your own tax, insurance, business expenses, vehicle costs and compliance obligations.
You may choose whether to go online, go offline, accept jobs or reject jobs, subject to platform rules.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove any legal rights or protections that apply under Australian law.
Drive2Deliver does not intend to create any sham contracting arrangement. If any law gives you rights as a regulated worker, road transport contractor, employee-like worker or other protected category, those rights are not excluded by these Terms.
To register as a driver, you may be required to provide:
Full legal name
Contact details
Date of birth
Driver licence details
Vehicle details
Vehicle registration
Insurance documents
ABN details, if applicable
Bank or payout information
Profile photo
Vehicle photos
Business details, if applicable
Any other information required for safety, verification, compliance or payment purposes
All information provided must be true, accurate, current and complete.
You must promptly update your account if any information changes.
Drive2Deliver may verify documents before allowing you to access delivery jobs.
Required documents may include:
Driver licence
Vehicle registration
Vehicle insurance
Vehicle photos
Proof of business or commercial use cover, where required
ABN details, where applicable
Permits or licences required for heavy vehicles or specialised delivery services
Any other compliance documents requested by Drive2Deliver
Drive2Deliver may temporarily restrict your account if documents are missing, expired, unclear, inconsistent, fraudulent or under review.
Your vehicle must be suitable for the delivery jobs you accept.
You are responsible for ensuring that your vehicle:
Is registered and roadworthy.
Is maintained in safe operating condition.
Is suitable for the load type, size and weight.
Has the correct equipment for load restraint.
Meets Australian road safety and vehicle standards.
Is not overloaded.
Is clean, safe and fit for commercial delivery use.
Complies with any applicable heavy vehicle laws, permits, road access conditions and local restrictions.
You must not use a vehicle that is unsafe, defective, overloaded, unregistered, uninsured or unsuitable for the delivery job.
Drivers must maintain valid and appropriate insurance at all times.
Depending on your vehicle, work type and legal requirements, insurance may include:
Compulsory third party insurance
Comprehensive vehicle insurance
Commercial vehicle insurance
Public liability insurance
Goods in transit insurance
Workers compensation or personal injury cover, where applicable
Any other insurance required by law, contract or Drive2Deliver policy
You are responsible for confirming that your insurance covers delivery work, commercial use and the type of goods you transport.
Drive2Deliver may request proof of insurance at any time.
When you go online, the app may show delivery jobs based on your location, vehicle type, load capacity, licence class, availability and platform requirements.
Before accepting a job, you must check whether:
Your vehicle is suitable.
Your licence class is suitable.
You can legally and safely carry the load.
You can meet the pickup and delivery requirements.
You understand the delivery instructions.
You have the correct restraint equipment.
The job does not breach road rules, fatigue laws, mass limits, access restrictions or safety requirements.
You must only accept jobs that you can complete safely, legally and professionally.
You may reject a delivery job before accepting it.
You must reject or decline a job if:
Your vehicle is unsuitable.
The load exceeds your vehicle capacity.
The load cannot be safely restrained.
You do not hold the correct licence.
You are tired, unwell or unfit to drive.
You cannot complete the job safely.
The job may breach Australian transport laws.
The pickup or delivery location is unsafe.
You do not have the correct insurance or permits.
Safety and legal compliance must always come first.
You should not cancel an accepted job unless necessary.
Acceptable reasons may include:
Vehicle breakdown
Driver illness
Safety issue
Incorrect load information
Load cannot be safely restrained
Licence or compliance issue
Emergency
Site access issue
App or dispatch error
If you need to cancel, you must notify Drive2Deliver as soon as possible through the app or support channel.
Repeated cancellations, late cancellations or unreasonable cancellations may affect your account status.
At pickup, you must:
Arrive safely and professionally.
Confirm the pickup address and supplier details.
Check the order details.
Inspect the goods where reasonably possible.
Confirm load size, weight and suitability.
Ensure the load is safely placed and restrained.
Take photos if required by the app.
Report any damage, shortage, incorrect item or unsafe condition before leaving.
You must not leave the pickup location if the load is unsafe, unstable, overloaded, incorrectly loaded or not suitable for your vehicle.
Drivers are responsible for ensuring that every load is safe, secure and legally restrained before driving.
You must:
Use suitable load restraint equipment.
Ensure the load cannot move, fall, become unstable or create danger.
Follow applicable load restraint laws and guidance.
Check load distribution and vehicle stability.
Ensure the load does not exceed mass, dimension or vehicle limits.
Stop and re-check the load if required during the trip.
Refuse to transport any load that cannot be safely restrained.
If the supplier assists with loading, you remain responsible for checking that the load is safe before starting the trip.
If you operate a heavy vehicle or accept heavy vehicle jobs, you must comply with all applicable heavy vehicle laws and requirements.
This may include:
National Heavy Vehicle Law requirements
NHVR rules and guidance
Fatigue management
Work and rest hours
Mass, dimension and loading requirements
Road access permits
Route restrictions
Vehicle standards
Maintenance obligations
Chain of Responsibility duties
State and territory road authority requirements
You must not accept or perform a heavy vehicle job unless you can complete it safely and legally.
You must not drive if you are tired, unwell, impaired or unfit to drive.
You must follow applicable work and rest requirements, fatigue management rules and road safety laws.
You must take required breaks and stop driving if you become fatigued.
Drive2Deliver may restrict or investigate accounts where fatigue, unsafe driving or breach of work/rest obligations is suspected.
All parties involved in transport activities may share responsibility for safety.
As a driver, you must take reasonable steps to ensure that your work does not create transport safety risks.
You must not accept pressure from any person to:
Speed
Skip rest breaks
Overload a vehicle
Carry unsafe loads
Breach road rules
Ignore vehicle defects
Drive while fatigued
Deliver to unsafe locations
Breach access restrictions
If you believe a job is unsafe or unlawful, you must stop and contact Drive2Deliver support.
During delivery, you must:
Drive safely and lawfully.
Follow the assigned route where required.
Follow road rules and speed limits.
Follow site access instructions.
Communicate professionally with suppliers, customers and site contacts.
Protect goods from damage, loss or theft.
Avoid unnecessary delays.
Update the app status accurately.
Complete proof of delivery as required.
Report incidents immediately.
You must not mark a job as completed unless the delivery has been properly completed.
Construction sites may be hazardous.
You must follow all reasonable site safety requirements, including:
Site entry instructions
PPE requirements
Traffic management directions
Delivery zone rules
Unloading instructions
UHF or site communication requirements, if applicable
Directions from authorised site personnel
You must not enter unsafe areas or unload materials in an unsafe location.
If a site appears unsafe, contact Drive2Deliver support before proceeding.
Proof of delivery may include:
Customer signature
Site contact confirmation
Delivery photo
Timestamp
GPS location
Driver notes
Barcode, QR code or order scan
Any other confirmation required by the app
You must provide accurate proof of delivery.
False proof of delivery, fake signatures, incorrect photos or misleading completion information may result in suspension or removal from the platform.
If goods are damaged, missing, incorrect or disputed, you must report the issue immediately.
You may be required to:
Take photos
Record notes
Contact the supplier
Contact the customer or site contact
Contact Drive2Deliver support
Wait for further instructions
You must not conceal damage, shortage, incorrect goods or delivery problems.
You must not leave goods unattended unless:
The app instructions permit it.
The customer or site contact has authorised it.
The location is reasonably safe.
Proof-of-delivery photos are taken.
The delivery notes are completed.
Drive2Deliver support has approved it where required.
You are responsible for following the correct delivery procedure.
Drivers must communicate professionally and respectfully with Drive2Deliver, suppliers, customers, builders, contractors, tradies and site staff.
You must not:
Use abusive, threatening or discriminatory language
Harass any person
Contact customers for non-delivery reasons
Share customer details outside the delivery purpose
Misuse phone numbers, addresses or personal information
Record or publish private information without permission
All communication must be limited to genuine delivery and support purposes.
You must use the Driver App honestly, safely and lawfully.
You must not:
Create false accounts.
Use another person’s account.
Share your account login.
Upload false or misleading documents.
Manipulate GPS location.
Falsify delivery status.
Accept jobs for vehicles you do not operate.
Use bots, scripts or unauthorised software.
Interfere with the app or platform.
Misuse confidential or customer information.
Engage in fraud, theft, abuse or unsafe conduct.
Drive2Deliver may investigate suspicious activity and take appropriate action.
The Driver App may use location data to support:
Job matching
Pickup and delivery tracking
Route visibility
Customer updates
Safety monitoring
Proof of delivery
Fraud prevention
Dispute resolution
Compliance and operational records
Location tracking may be required while you are online, assigned to a job or completing a delivery.
If location permissions are disabled, you may not be able to receive or complete jobs.
Drive2Deliver may collect, use, store and disclose personal information for purposes including:
Driver registration
Identity verification
Document verification
Job allocation
Delivery tracking
Payment processing
Customer and supplier communication
Safety and compliance
Dispute handling
Fraud prevention
Legal and regulatory obligations
Platform improvement
Personal information may include your name, contact details, licence details, vehicle details, location data, payment details, documents, profile photo, app activity, job history and communications.
Drive2Deliver will handle personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable Australian privacy laws.
Drive2Deliver may pay drivers for completed eligible delivery jobs according to the payment rules shown in the app or agreed in writing.
Payment may depend on:
Job type
Vehicle type
Delivery distance
Load requirements
Waiting time, if approved
Cancellation rules
Adjustments
Deductions
Refunds or disputes
Platform fees, if applicable
GST treatment, if applicable
Drive2Deliver may withhold, adjust or delay payment where:
A job is incomplete.
Proof of delivery is missing.
A delivery is disputed.
Fraud or misuse is suspected.
Documents are invalid or expired.
Incorrect payment details are provided.
Legal or compliance concerns exist.
A refund, claim, chargeback or customer dispute is under review.
Drivers are responsible for their own tax obligations.
You may be required to provide an ABN if you operate as a business or independent contractor.
If you are registered for GST, you are responsible for:
Notifying Drive2Deliver of your GST registration status.
Providing accurate ABN and tax details.
Ensuring GST is handled correctly.
Keeping your own tax records.
Seeking advice from a tax professional where required.
Drive2Deliver may issue driver payment summaries, payout records or recipient-created tax invoices if this process is implemented and agreed.
Nothing in these Terms is tax advice.
Drive2Deliver may apply fees, deductions or adjustments where allowed by law and platform policy.
This may include adjustments for:
Cancelled jobs
Incorrect completion
Customer refunds
Duplicate payments
Overpayments
Damage claims
Missing goods
Fraudulent activity
Platform fees
Payment processing corrections
Any deductions must be reasonable, lawful and connected to the delivery services or platform use.
If you experience delays at pickup or delivery, you must update the app and contact support if required.
Waiting time payments may only apply if:
Waiting time is authorised by Drive2Deliver.
The delay is recorded in the app.
The delay is not caused by the driver.
The job terms allow waiting time compensation.
Unauthorised waiting time may not be paid.
A job may be cancelled by the customer, supplier or Drive2Deliver.
If a job is cancelled, payment treatment will depend on:
When the job was cancelled
Whether you had already travelled
Whether pickup had occurred
Whether costs were reasonably incurred
The cancellation policy shown in the app
Any applicable legal requirements
Drive2Deliver may review each cancellation before confirming payment.
Drivers must take reasonable care of goods from pickup to delivery.
You may be responsible for damage, loss, theft, delay or non-delivery caused by:
Unsafe loading or restraint
Negligent driving
Failure to follow instructions
Misconduct
Fraud
Leaving goods without authorisation
Failure to secure goods
Breach of these Terms
Breach of applicable law
Drive2Deliver may investigate damage or loss claims and may request evidence from the driver, supplier, customer or site contact.
If an accident or emergency occurs, you must:
Stop safely.
Check for injuries.
Contact emergency services if required.
Follow legal reporting requirements.
Notify Drive2Deliver support as soon as safe.
Provide accurate incident details.
Take photos if safe and lawful.
Cooperate with any investigation.
Safety must always come first.
If your vehicle breaks down during a job, you must:
Move to a safe location if possible.
Contact roadside assistance if required.
Notify Drive2Deliver support immediately.
Provide your location and job reference.
Secure the goods if safe to do so.
Wait for instructions.
You must not abandon goods unless directed by emergency services or Drive2Deliver support.
You must not transport goods that are illegal, unsafe, prohibited or outside the approved Drive2Deliver service scope.
You must not transport:
Illegal goods
Dangerous goods unless authorised, licensed and insured
Loads exceeding your vehicle capacity
Unsecured or unstable loads
Goods requiring permits you do not hold
Goods that cannot be safely or legally delivered
If you are unsure whether a load is permitted, contact Drive2Deliver support before proceeding.
Drive2Deliver may monitor driver performance, including:
Acceptance rate
Completion rate
Cancellation rate
Customer feedback
Supplier feedback
Safety reports
On-time performance
Proof-of-delivery accuracy
Compliance status
Incident history
Poor performance, unsafe conduct or repeated breaches may result in warnings, reduced access, suspension or account deactivation.
Drive2Deliver may suspend, restrict or deactivate your account if:
You breach these Terms.
You provide false or misleading information.
Your documents expire or fail verification.
You operate without valid insurance.
You operate without the correct licence.
You engage in unsafe driving.
You misuse the app.
You commit fraud or theft.
You receive serious complaints.
You fail to comply with safety or legal obligations.
Drive2Deliver is required to do so by law.
Continuing access creates safety, legal, financial or reputational risk.
Where appropriate, Drive2Deliver may allow you to provide information or appeal a decision.
If your account is suspended or deactivated, you may contact Drive2Deliver support to request a review.
You may be asked to provide:
Updated documents
Explanation of the incident
Photos or records
Insurance information
Police or incident reports
Any other relevant evidence
Drive2Deliver will review the matter and make a decision based on safety, compliance, platform integrity and applicable law.
Drive2Deliver may require drivers to complete onboarding, training or compliance confirmations.
This may include:
Safety training
Load restraint guidance
Fatigue awareness
Chain of Responsibility awareness
App training
Proof-of-delivery training
Site safety instructions
Updated policy acknowledgements
You may be restricted from going online until required training or compliance steps are completed.
Drive2Deliver may update these Terms from time to time.
If material changes are made, Drive2Deliver may notify you through the app, email, SMS or other reasonable method.
You may be required to review and accept updated Terms before continuing to use the Driver App.
Changes will not remove any legal rights that cannot be excluded under Australian law.
Drive2Deliver aims to provide reliable app access but does not guarantee that the platform will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
The app may be affected by:
Maintenance
Technical issues
Internet outages
GPS issues
Third-party service failures
Payment processor issues
Device problems
Force majeure events
You must report technical issues that affect deliveries as soon as possible.
Drive2Deliver owns or licenses all intellectual property in the Driver App, platform, brand, logo, software, content, systems, designs and materials.
Drivers must not copy, reproduce, modify, reverse engineer, misuse or commercially exploit any part of the platform without written permission.
Drivers may receive confidential information through the platform, including customer details, supplier information, pricing, delivery instructions, site details and platform processes.
You must only use confidential information for the purpose of completing authorised Drive2Deliver jobs.
You must not disclose, misuse, copy, sell or publish confidential information.
Customer and supplier information is provided only for delivery purposes.
You must not:
Contact customers outside the delivery purpose
Store customer details outside the app
Share customer addresses or phone numbers
Use customer information for marketing
Approach customers or suppliers to bypass Drive2Deliver
Misuse any information received through the platform
Drivers must not use Drive2Deliver customer, supplier or delivery information to bypass the platform, solicit direct work, avoid platform fees or interfere with Drive2Deliver’s business relationships.
This does not prevent drivers from conducting their own lawful business independently, provided they do not misuse Drive2Deliver confidential information, customer details, supplier details or platform data.
If a dispute arises, you should contact Drive2Deliver support first.
Disputes may relate to:
Payments
Cancellations
Delivery completion
Damage claims
Account suspension
Customer complaints
Supplier complaints
App issues
Drive2Deliver may review app records, GPS data, photos, communications, delivery notes and other evidence.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Drive2Deliver is not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, business interruption, vehicle costs, fines, penalties, tax liabilities, insurance gaps or losses caused by driver breach, unsafe conduct, incorrect documents or failure to comply with law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights that cannot legally be excluded under Australian law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Drive2Deliver against losses, claims, damages, costs, penalties or liabilities arising from:
Your breach of these Terms
Your unsafe or unlawful conduct
Your negligence or misconduct
Your failure to maintain licence, registration or insurance
Your failure to secure or protect goods
Your breach of transport laws
Your misuse of customer, supplier or platform information
Your fraud or dishonesty
This indemnity does not apply to losses caused by Drive2Deliver’s own unlawful conduct, fraud or wilful misconduct.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Australian state or territory where Drive2Deliver operates or where the relevant delivery service is performed, unless otherwise required by law.
Where Drive2Deliver operates in ACT and NSW, applicable ACT, NSW and Commonwealth laws may apply depending on the job, driver location, customer location, vehicle route and legal issue.
Before using the Driver App or going online, you may be required to tick the following confirmation:
I confirm that I have read, understood and agree to the Drive2Deliver Driver Terms & Conditions. I acknowledge that I am responsible for maintaining valid licence, registration, insurance, vehicle safety and compliance with all applicable Australian laws, NHVR requirements, road rules, fatigue obligations, load restraint requirements and platform policies.

These Terms provide general platform rules for Drive2Deliver drivers.
They do not replace legal, tax, insurance, safety or regulatory advice.
Drivers are responsible for seeking their own professional advice where required and for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, licences, permits, insurance requirements and safety obligations.
